2nd annual!

The 56 Music Fix is excited to bring a family-friendly event to the Veteran's Memorial Bandshell at Lions Park featuring an Artisan Market, food vendors and live music.  

Thank you for your interest in being part of our Artisan Market!  We're seeking 25 local vendors to sell their handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces. For consideration, please complete & submit the form below. Our jury will determine if your work is a good fit for our event and will be in touch with further details.

Frequently asked questions

What is the date of the artisan market?


August 22nd from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. Vendors will be allowed to set up starting at 10:00am and must be broken down by 6:00pm.




What is the cost to be a vendor?


$50.00 per vendor.




How many people do you anticpate will attend the event?


This is our first year so we are anticipating 300-500 attendees.




Where is the event?


Mt. Prospect, Il. The market will be held at the bandshell/Lions Park field.




What is the booth size?


10 x 10 booth space will be allotted for each vendor.




Do you provide any booth equipment?


No, you will need to provide your own: tables, chairs, table cloths, ten etc... We will only be providing a 10 x 10 space. You must bring your own set-up equipment.




Is electricity provided?


Very limited electricity is avaiable. Vendors who need electricity will be selected by the jury.




What is the set up and breakdown procedures like?


You are responsible to set up and breakdown your booth. We do not provide any assistance. Set up begins at 10:00am. Breakdown begins at 5:00pm and must be completed by 6:00pm.

What are the acceptance criteria?


1. You must be the artist/designer of your work 2. You must be the original creator/assembler/producer/maker of your work. 3. You must understand and have mastered the craft process needed to make your work. 4. You must be intimately involved in the production process from start to finish. 5. Artist must be on-site representing their work for the duration of the show




How do artists collect payment for their pieces?


You must be able to collect payment via cash or credit card.
